Sabrina Chaudhary, one of the founding partners of Stay Silent PVD, organizers of the event, told this correspondent while the What Cheer? Brigade warmed up in the background, "We're really excited about having a new place to bring people in the District together for music and fun and food. And we're happy to see it all come together tonight."

To help launch Providence's Innovation & Design District, we'll be hosting a series of events and activations in the area within the next few months, and also be programming The Shack, a new pop-up seafood restaurant/park for the next 2 years.
